i can hear crickets chirping 24 hours a day in the summer, althogh at night theres alot more.. what the hell, are crickets on meth? haha oh yeah and yesterday there were 2 explosions of some kind, and when the boom happened all the insects n shit shutup for a second, it was pretty funny haha, i didnt know insects could be startled silent through a noise
thats funny dude there was an explosion around here too, im pretty sure it was an m80 or something. i was sittin on the comp surfin' gc at like 1am and BAM i jumped lol. as for the crickets, i have no clue. i dont want anything to do with them though.
I like how when u hear one in the grass and you slowly go to find where its noise is coming from, they shut up and dont let you find em.

i saw on the discovery channel that if you monitor the ammount of chirps in a minute,,,,,,from a cricket,,,, it will give you the exact temperature,,,,, or something like that,,,, all i know is they make good fish-bait
