  1. goddamn!! yes!!! i want that cd!!! but you could also get his studio albums, but his live songs sound the same but different wtf? you know what i mean
    YES

  2. Don't buy shit of his anymore. Download it....Do not support the people that own the rights to the hendrix name and destroy it!

  3. yea bro JIMI is a beast on the geetar! lol yea make sure u pick up electric ladyland album, i think its hes best work

  4. it's good to see jimi's spirit and music live on
definitely get that man, the best music ever!! :D

  5. stoned freely is right jimi is a true visionary he once said " when the power of love, exceeds the love of power, then we will truly have " peace

  6. There is nothing better than live music IMO. I recommend d/l a few bootlegs to get a taste of the true Jimi Hendrix. If you do try to get some boots try to find the files in FLAC it will blow your mind.

  7. I personally think that when you're just starting to listen to anything you should buy albums first because they give you a perspective look at other work they did at the same time as they were writing your favorite shit. I started off with Axis:Bold as Love in the 7th grade and that's still one of my favorites to date.

  8. What he said.

Find some live stuff too. My favorite is his performance at Monterey Pop Festival '67. He fucking tears apart 'Killing Floor'.

  9. i have SOME tracks from the box set-- the ones that aren't on his studio albums.

i wouldn't recommend buying the full box set though... just buy the individual albums man they're all great.

    Studio albums:
    Are You Experienced?
    Axis: Bold As Love
    South Saturn Delta
    Electric Ladyland
    Blues
First Rays of the New Rising Sun
Band of Gypsys (actually a live album)

the problem with the box set is you'll still be missing lots of Jimi-gems. i prefer the complete collection. and i agree with the guy who loves "Axis: Bold As Love"

    just a beautiful album.

  10. heres a list of all good hendrix to listen to and also my personal collection...and i bought every last one of them..
