Dmv

    I have to get my license renewed and I dont have the money for it.
    Will the DMV accept a check not in my name? Its my mom's check.
    (We dont have the same last name, because she remarried.)

    have the check signed over to you and go cash it yourself. problem solved.

    Why dont you call the DMV, they could probably give you a more straight forward answer.

    We couldn't possibly answer this without knowing what state you live in, not all DMV's or driver's facilities are the same.

    Calling them would be your best bet.
