So over the past year I've been getting into different styles of music and I want to get into DJing. Like seriously get into it and play at parties and shit. I want to because I've played around on some equipment and it seems creative, productive, and fun. Plus I love music. Problem is I don't know where to start at all. I don't know how to start out of what equipment to get. I'm looking for decent stuff on the cheaper side since I don't have a lot of spending money right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated though, thanks in advance.

fuck software .. if you are serious about this you should start off with hardware ....... what is your budget ?
If I were you I would register and post this question on djtechtools.com/forum. It's an amazing forum full of really helpful DJs who well give you all the info to start. Being a DJ myself I highly recommend you to follow this hobby and invest your money and time into i. It was the best choice I've ever made. If you really love music you'll LOVE DJing.
fuck haters... what's wrong with using software? The point of DJing is to rock the dancefloor. Does it really matter what people use to do that? I think not.
