first off.... I am very new to cannabis.... I am using it for nausea caused by a case of Lyme disease I had in 2007...... It also helps some of the back pain I have.
This last Weekend, I took a large hit..( for me anyways) of an unknown strain... It was from the dispensary but I had put it into a little silicone box and not labeled it...... I had smoked a small amount of what I thought was the same strain the day before and was just energized, but I knew immidiately after inhaling it was not the same stuff.... It was harsh and made me cough ..... I had had my coffee for the day, but no food at all.... Within 15 minutes I felt incredibly dizzy and faint..... But I went for my morning walk like I usually do..... It was a walk I will not forget.... I felt lucid, dizzy, faint, blurred vision, and could barely keep my bearing straight to finish the walk.... I almost panicked at one point, but told myself I was close to home and just keep going...... Anyways, the rest of the day was the same, and the weekend was a blur... I did take a small hit of a sativa strain the next day, or the same evening..... I honestly cannot remember because of the brain fog...... It did seem to help, but I have not used any more cannabis for 4 days now because the dizziness and fog and some depression are also very present..... I should mention, I have been on an SSRI for 15 years..... This same thing has happened 1 time before about a month ago but dissipated within 24-36 hours....... I have a Dr appt tomorrow to see if there is something else going on, but at this point cannabis is a bit scary for me at the moment...... My husband told me to smoke a small amount of the sativa strains I have and it may help, but I don't want to prolong this dizziness and fog for any longer if it's cannabis related. I have really had no issues up until the last month ..... And I do live in the southwest where the pollen and dust are horrible right now, but I have never had issues with allergies before......I just want this fog and lack of clarity to go away.... I feel like I am in some sort of a daze......I should also mention I had heard a dose of CBD can pull you out of a bad situation, so I used my CBD spray several times that day and into the next day..... Not sure if that was the correct thing to do, but I did it anyways..... I have also been drinking tons of water as well.... Today it's the same feeling only with a slight headache and focus issues.... Like my eyes cannot move fast enough..... And for some reason time has gone so slow the last few days..... I kind of feel like I am in slow motion.

  2. Since you're so new to it like when I started I would still feel high the next day and I know there was no way I could be and yes sativas can be a bit much if your new but if you want this for pain and nausea id probably get a hybrid that's indica dominant and see how you feel after that?

  3. And that ssri probably isn't helping any and could definitely be making things worse for you since cannabis affects the balance of chemicals in the brain just like the ssri is I used to be on those for depression and I felt like a zombie so no more of that I've moved on now Im not a doctor but this seems like its the cause of your problem and if you feel panic setting in jest remember itll be over soon and the weed can't hurt you but anyways hope this helped! :)

  5. I'm am not an every day smoker or consumer either..... I use it maybe a couple times a week since I got my card..... And very small amounts.....I went a little crazy buying all sorts of stuff at first, but I gave most of it away to friends who also had cards because I was just too scared to use it.... I smoked cannabis at a teen, but not a lot, maybe 10 times..... I am now 45, so there has been a lot of years in between.... I am very healthy and do not smoke tobacco or drink alcohol, so maybe my system is just so clean the cannabis is causing issues. I don't use my SSRI for depression, mine was prescribed more for OCD issues and a mood stabilizer from problems brought on by pregnancy. I can function , but it takes a ton of convincing my brain to do the same right now......

  6. Update...... I went to the Dr this morning and the second marijuana was mentioned her demeanor changed...... She said it's likely not from MM, but it isn't helping either...... Now I have clammy feet, and nausea as well..... So who knows what this is.... They took blood and I need to have an MRI and a ultrasound of my carotid artery...... This could be related to the weed, or...... The weed made whatever this is come to light...... I guess I'll find out when I get test results back and have the other tests run
