DIY Watering Ring

Discussion in 'Do It Yourself' started by awek420, Sep 2, 2016.

  1. Pump sprayer from Walmart - $5

Tubing and T adapter from local hydro shop - $3

Disconnect wand from pump sprayer handle, shove tubing in it.

Create watering circle using the T adapter, and attach to tubing leading to pump sprayer.

Poke/Drill holes in the watering ring.

    Easy, effective, cheap.

Precise, soft, even, non intrusive watering.

  3. I use the ring pictured (more of a triangle) for 1 gallon pots. For bigger pots just make a larger ring, or a smaller ring for smaller pots. For pots over 5 gallons, a larger pump sprayer would be best, or a resivour and pump. Otherwise it would likely take more than a gallon per plant, and you'd have to refill the tank mid watering.

  12. Love the simplicity. I assume you're in coco? No air in the res isn't a factor then, since coco can supply it abundantly just by top feeding?
