  2. UC grows are too cool. hope you're ganna post some more details/pics. looks amazing.

  3. Once they get going a little more, I'll post some more pics. Basically running 9 girls in a 10x10 room with 4 1000 Watt HPS lights hanging vertically. Two oscilating fans, 400 CFM fan intake, 600 CFM fan exhaust. Air conditioner in the summer when its needed, heater in the winter. Ionic nutes at 1000 PPM, with a little cal mag, running PH between 5.4-5.8 950 GPH pump, recircs the system every 4 minutes. 27 gallon resivor. Girls started in fogger cloner, transplanted into 4x4 rockwool into my DIY ebbflow table on a four hour timer. Transplanted into hydroton in 5 gallon buckets when 8-10 inches tall. Individual DWC buckets in veg under two 4 ft 8 bulb T5s. Running 750 PPM in veg. (Currently working on upgrading the veg room to undercurrent as well.) Temps are pretty consistent...70s at night with lights on, 60s during the day. Last year I had 16 plants in DWC buckets in the same bloom room...did a lot of crawling around on the floor! Much more room now.

  4. awsome stuff man. I don't have room currently for perpetual but my grow medium right now is a table and i'm trying to move away from it. how much did the DIY UC set up cost ya roughly? I wonder if i could fit 6 in my 5x5 tent.

  5. That would work great in your tent, just keep the controller bucket and res outside the wall. I hade to space the buckets out quite a bit for vertical lighting but if you are running hoods, you can keep the buckets closer together. I ran 38" between centers of buckets, you could prob go 15-20. The whole setup cost me about $500, including buckets, netpots, uniseals, PVC and fittings, pump, resivor, had to buy a $20 hole saw, 1/4 " airhose, airstones, and random pieces parts. Check out this link, it will give you a good overview of setup ideas.

  7. wow man that is very interesting! what strains are your currently running? and they are looking very healthy and beautiful!

  8. Thanks man. That one in the middle is God. There are also a couple sour diesel, a jack frost, and one lady that lost her label, (believed to be sour diesel too) Once this run is done, I will only be running the God, Jack Frost and Affgooey ladies that are currently in my veg room.

  9. Nice set up. What is the structure you have them in?

  10. how big of pipe are you using?
    size of the inline pump?
and where did you get your uniseals from?

sweet build... I really am considering building one

  11. Nice Avatar man....LOL! The setup is in a 10x20 shed. I used 2" PVC and fittings. My pump is 950 GPH. I got the uniseals from my local grow store but here is a link to a place where you can find them online...Yeah for sure, if your gonna go hydro and you have the space and budget, this is the way to go. I've built numerous systems and none have performed like this one.

  13. I just love how clean everything is. from the spotless floor to the perfection of the airlines... very nice.

did these start from seed or clone? I wanna see pics of your veg/mother room too :ey:

    two thumbs up!

  14. Thanks man. These are all grown from clone. Here are a few pics of the veg room. The cuttings did not come from these plants. I do not keep mother plants, just cut clones off of whatever I need to before I put them into bloom...

  15. you running a t5 in there? and what size veg buckets are you using?

  16. Yeah, I have two 4ft 8bulb T5s in there but only running one right now, trying to catch up from the freeze I had in the veg room a couple months ago. Getting ready to build another undercurrent system next week for the veg room. Using 5 gallon buckets now and for the UC as well. The veg UC system will basically be a mini version of the one in the bloom room, built to fit under the two T5s side by side. Will post some pics next weekend.

  17. A few pic updates of god and others. I had to move one of the Sour Diesel plants to a buddy's house due to hermie problems. All three SD plants seem to be showing signs of hermie, but never have in the past. All limiting factors are perfect in this grow, so I'm not sure whats going on with them. I guess that's why I'm getting rid of this strain. I like it but there is just too much stretch and not enough bud. RIP sour diesel!

  18. Hey man your room looks great and love how neat it is. Thanks for sharing and advice.

  19. Thanks man! Let me know when you start to build, I'm interested in seeing some pics...word from the wise....if you use the uniseals for the 2" PVC, you will be using a 3" hole saw to drill your holes. Run the drill in the "foward position" until the pilot bit punctures the bucket. Then stop and switch the drill to the reverse position. Drill your hole out using the reverse position. The teeth of the holesaw won't grab as much and it will create a smoother hole...and DO NOT clean out the hole with a de-bur tool or razor blade or anything. This will create a place where the water will leak. Good luck with your build...Stay in touch man

  20. That's a good tip on running the drill in reverse.
I ran mine super slow because I found the faster the drill runs the more likely the plastic melts slightly and leaves lots of hang nails of plastic.

Curious how satisfied you've been with your ppm? Any changes up or down next run?
