DIY Piece/Pipe/Advice?

  1. I was really baked earlier today and got the idea to make a piece to smoke out of.

About a week ago I got 2 pieces of PVC tubing from work and I was wanting to use those as part of the piece. I took pictures of all of the supplies I have at my disposal to make the new piece from.

I have an acrylic bong (Toucan Sam), a small acrylic/metal pipe (John McCartney), a glass steamroller (George Clooney), a glass 1-hitter (Fidel), a milk cap with a small metal bowl for a GB, two pieces of 2' long 1/4" thick PVC pipe (brand new, unused), a whip it cracker and balloon, and two unpictured balloons that are the same as the one here. Everything labeled with red in the pics is totally destructible, and anything with green is stuff I'm willing to use parts from but don't want to damage. There are two head shops and a Lowes nearby I can get additional supplies from, but my budget for other things is $30.

First and most importantly, is it safe to use PVC with a piece? Are there any health-related reasons why using PVC is a bad idea?

Second, Does anyone have any ideas for what I can make with the supplies I have here and supplies within my $30 budget? I've had a few ideas, but before I do anything I'd like to see if anyone has any ideas that are less... stupid than mine have been so far. My main goal is to do something with the PVC so it's not just collecting dust in my closet.

If I'm able to make anything I'll put a pic somewhere with a milk hit from the frankenpipe. Thanks to all that reply and took the time to read this thread.

[I'm not sure if the rules allow me to post the pics with the cracker/nitrous or even mention it here... it's legal so I don't know. If its against the rules someone tell me and I'll edit this post and get rid of the references to it]

  2. Directly from Wikipedia:
"PVC produces HCl upon combustion almost quantitatively related to its chlorine content"
Also, it states the melting point of PVC to be 100–260 C

Plastic additives can easily leech out, so I would say exposing it to any heat is a bad idea.
