I started this project 2 days ago but I still can't figure out what's wrong with my design. It does vaporize but it doesn't produce a lot. I used cooper wires and a stainless steel mesh and a 2450mah rechargeable battery but it still doesn't get hot enough. I was thinking that this happens because the mesh isn't soldered to the cooper wires. This is just the prototype, I would like to get it working perfectly before I make the final version. I need some help to fix it. I will post my schematics soon so everybody can build theirs. Thanks in advance...
The copper wires shouldnt be level with all of the herb. Notice in the mflb its a trench. So it heats up the whole screen. The copper wires are only heating up certain parts of the screen to necessary temp.maybe use nimh batteries as well
Im pretty sure you need a smaller area of mesh between the copper. less mesh = less resistance = more current draw = more heat. I'm in the process of making my own right now too
