Distilling Marijuana

  1. Just pondering here, but if THC has a vaporizing temperature of like 400C? could someone not put alot of buds in an alcohol still, and just heat it up to whatever the vaporization temperature is? if you could condense the vapor without it stickying up the entire thing, could someone not 'distill' the marijuana into pure THC?

  2. I almost replied w/ an answer, but after thinking, I have no clue what you're talking about. I think you're confused about distilation...its not like...mmmuhh.....condensation.

    man I have NO idea.

  3. It's not 400c it's more like 350f. And i think theres some definet flaws with your idea. I'm not sure if thc is a solid or liquid so I can't really answer the question.

  4. THC isn't the only cannabinoid in cannabis.

  5. I'm not sure, but there's this thing called "budder" and it's almost 100% pure THC. I'm not sure how they make it though, you'd have to google it.

  6. it doesnt matter if its a liquid or a solid.. it comes off as a vapor, and if u condense (cool it down) then it would turn it back into a liquid, this is how alcohol distillation works.. and it wouldnt have the same boiling point as any other cannabinoid

  7. i dont know about distilling it, but my daddy and uncles used to make wine. wine out of everything, even dandillion greens. why could you not make wine out of herb. ive brewed tea, your not heating just fumenting, why not?
