Distance from canopy

Foot in a half minimum .
I have had my plants grow up to the light and it does burn them ...

 

I have my 2v 288 slightly dimmed too .
You will notice the white hairs on the top of the buds look like one solid whitish looking ball ( Solid ) .It looks weird ..

 

Sorry my 288 are 3000K you might want a second opinion ..

To much light deforms the leaf's as in too close .

 

I love my qb 135w v2 4000k. Best veg light God ever created. Burnt the shit out of my poor seedlings at first. Speaking of the light god, tbone turned me on to the Dr $30 amazon lux meter. If you had one, a safe place to start a seed is 40,000 lux. Learning to read stretch is easy, learning to read light burn taught me about everything that messes up a leaf. 40,000 lux is almost 30 inches for me. I run much closer now, but err on the side of too far, and 24 inches is not too far. Learn to read light burn before you get too close.
