Hello everyone, So, this is my first grow...4 Cali. Orange Bud and 2 Bag seed in soil...400w mh Anyway, I'm heading into the 3rd week of flowering, but in this past week 3 of the plants showed signs of being male...so I just cut them down tonight and am gonna make butter outta them for the hell of it. One of the ones that I have left (bag seed) is definitely female and has started flowering quite well. One of the orange is looking very healthy but has not started to show its sex, and the second orange has never been very healthy (it's at least two feet shorter than the others....but has lately bounced back and is on it's way to being a decent plant). So out of 6 plants I only have one definite female. Here's to hoping that the two orange buds turn out female...I would be very upset if the seeds that I actually bought turned out all male. Hopefully the next grow will turn out better, I'm planning on growing some Master Haze by White Widow Web and maybe some B-52 by Nirvana (though, I'm nervous to grow Nirvana again since that was what my orange bud was....) Well, I just needed to vent to you guys about my frustration with all the males. Do you think it was something I did wrong, or just bad luck?
I wish you great luck with the rest of the Cali - O to be Females. Here are a few shots of mine @ 14 days of flowering.
Sounds like a case of some terrible luck. Either that or you have stressed your plants to the point of turning male. But I highly doubt that. It seems like you just got a bad batch of seeds. Best of luck to you with the remaining few.
