Disproving karma.

  1. I guess the response from a karmatic adherent would be that money isn't everything? Maybe you've seen the Nip/Tuck episode with Rosie o'Donnel, that's how it might play out.

Although I think 'karma' is just a term that's loosely thrown around. I doubt many people with their heads screwed on tight really believe in such a thing.

  2. Ugh give me a break.. there is no Karma. It's like saying that if you are good all year round a fat bearded man is gunna squeeze down your chimney with presents. I guess whatever makes you feel good about yourself. I prefer a nice healthy dosage of reality.

  3. How do you know it won't be the worst thing that has ever happened to him? Money has a terrible karma, it may well kill him! Or one of his victims may go off on him, or a family member...he better be very worried now. Bad things I see, very bad things.;)

  4. orignally karma was based on wat u did in past lives so if u do good in this life you have good fortunae nedxt life and so on with bad things, this continues until u acheive devine being seperated from your body into your spirit
    so says hindu/buddism

  5. Well I could tell you that's not the way karma works but that is fine. But that is really bad.

  6. So tell me, how does karma work? Please be sure to include a link to where the proof is documented.

  7. if i won ten-million dollars i'd buy a nice island and a yacht and adopt a bunch of inner city kids

  8. What type of karma? Kamma in Buddhism? The caste? Karma in Christianity philosophy? in general and loose terms? Hinduism? Old greek?

  9. Karma in reality, with all of the man-made spiritual ideologies set aside.

  10. Exactly! Nothing would be considered a fact! Therefor there is no 'impossible' there are no 'limits'.

IMO Karma, like religion, is just something created to make people feel that being good in life is going to somehow benefit you, otherwise there is no purpose for being good.

    Escape the box!

  11. I know exactly what your saying but under 'my' ideologies karma is not a representation of if you do something good, you get something good... but it's more of like this:
If I give a neighbor all my Christmas presents because he didn't get any, karma would return unto me and I would be feeling good because I gave him the presents. Of course that's non-materialism, which is good in many aspects.

  12. I have a great video that I think is the purest form of karma.

    Here is the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=BkLHbDyNtlc
Basically, the teen tries to knock a kid off his bike while riding in a car and then proceeds to fall out of the car and smash his face into an oncoming car. It screams KARMA!

  13. Western karma is so silly.

  14. Fair enough. Non-materialism is very important. Only when there is nothing at all, can you truly see.

  15. lmao thats crazy
