    So my dispensary has 28% thc shake. Can shake be as potent as flower ? Is it worth $50 1/4

    how's it been stored ideally you want it kind of oily not dry ..frozen is best for me

    Trim / shake 4%
    Buds 15%
    Hash 50%
    Wax and distillate 90%+
    I've been growing Cannabis since 1973 and Bud is Bud is Bud and hasn't suddenly tripled in strength in the last 15 years. It's all smoke and mirrors and paid off testing labs with moon rocks rolled in trichomes to get a 28% content. Not happening. If it sounds too good to be true it almost always is.

    I get the latest, greatest strains from fellow growers so I should be growing all 28, 30, 32% strains, right? .... This stuff should be nearly as strong as the pure trichomes I shake off my grow which is 50%. Right?
    LMAO. Not even close.

    Most likely the flower that the shake was taken from tested at 28%. It isnt likely to be near as potent as flower from the same batch. Worth it is up to you and your area. Here we can buy popcorn ounces for $50 out the door, and shake ounces run around $25 on the rare occasion that someone is selling them in the store. I think most of the shake gets processed into hash or rolled into pre-rolls.
