dispensaries getting shut down in cali?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by skiandblaze, Oct 6, 2011.

  1. What the fuck are you on? Of course BigPharma wants it gone , at
least until they can control it and how it's produced and get their greedy
    frigging mitts on the industry.

As goes Calif , well the Golden State has basically been flipping the
bird to the Feds for a while now , and we were the first as regards MMJ
so it ultimately becomes a case of " the nail that sticks up gets hammered
flat."............they're out to make an example in Calif so the rest of the
MMJ states will cave in to their "might".

Face it we all knew there would be a backlash at some point , expect
it to get worse , possibly a lot worse. Keep in mind how they eventually
got Al Capone and what for..

Ot wasn't BATF or the FBI , it was the IRS.

And if we fail to stand up to the Fed in Calif over this issue then it's going
to set the fight for legalisation back a lllloooooonnnggggg ways.

And notice if you wil just how carefully they picked their targets , the biggest
dispensary in the state , probably in the nation , and notice they picked
San Diego in which to threaten those dispensaries , a military and fairly
rightwing enclave. If they had done it in the Bay Area there would be
people marching in the streets as we speak.

  2. Nope , it would just be the '68 Convention all over again , complete
with the dogs and firehoses , and now they've got freaking Tasers.

The Fed already got Montana to cave basically , get Calif to do so
    and the rest will fall.

There is a ray of hope though , keep in mind that BIG with a capital B
money interests have been quietly buying up land in Humboldt and Mendocino
counties , that includes Phillip Morris and Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Who
knows but what they may throw some of their political lobby money
behind legalisation , flip side to that is the potential regulation on
how it's produced and who can do so.

One thing is for damned certain however , O'Bummer lost
himself one HELL of a lot of votes in the Golden State. Shutting
down a potential 100 plus billion dollar a year industry ( and that's
JUST Calif) isn't going to win a lot of hearts and minds.

We're about to find out which if any of California's politicians
    have any real balls.

  3. I'll keep my money , guns , weed and Freedom , that motherf***er can
    keep the " Change"...........

  4. Ya sure you want to know the answer to that one? And I think you
    overestimate their cranial capacity.

    Time to go back underground...........

  5. And he'd know this exactly how again? Anyone here think those
threatening letters meant anything else? Anyone think the IRS
coming down on Harborside like a ton of bricks says anything but
" We're The BOSS , now up against the wall and SUBMIT."

I mean really? Think this is benign and " it will blow over"?

    Really?

  6. And? Your point was?

What you expected all fifty states at once to legalise it or pass MMJ legislation?
Kkkkkkeeerrrist on a crutch it had to start somewhere now didn't it. And it managed
to get to a third of the States before the backlash , and your majority isn't quite
as large as you think it is , check the population count in MMJ states versus that
of a lot of the non-MMJ states.

Lets see here , the Netherlands is what , close to 17 million in population
    right?

Calif is 35 million plus , that's better than ten percent of the total
population that has access , that's one state,

Just curious here , have you ever been to the States?

  7. Post once ya fool.

  8. Big pharma isn't behind legalization, I hate to say it but I called this. Next move will be rescheduling cannabis to Schedule II and passing legislation so big pharma can legally use real cannabis extracts in their pills while keeping the plant matter illegal.

  9. I wish Texas was a medical state.

Did they find these guys in Bagdasarian's garage? If not, I may see a distinction;)

(insert really disgusting pic of dismembered unfortunate victims of actual cartel violence here, to illustrate the difference between California dispensaries and cartels, hopefully not giving anyone who saw the very disgusting picture nightmares, or any form of distress-my apologies:eek:)

  11. If you're talking to me , well I'm waving hello to you.

  12. If you think that BigPharma and Big Tobacco aren't drooling over the prospect
of legalisation and *regulation* that will attempt to take it out of the small producers
hands then you haven't been watching what's going on.

Yeah Bayer Pharmaceuticals bought 37 thousand acres in Mendocino for an investment , yeah that's it.

It would already be legal again if they could figure out how to contol it all
and add to their bottom line.

As is fairly evident legalisation efforts are going to stall out again , very few
politicos are going to stand with us unless their own nest is going to
    get feathered somehow.

Meanwhile we'll all be used as a pawn in a political game.

Exactly Ronin, it has nothing to do with money. If the government and pharmaceutical companies wanted to make money they would make it LEGAL, there is another reason why it's illegal, and why they don't want any testing to be conducted at all.

Marijuana is not a miracle cure and people will still continue to buy medication.

You think it's up to Obama? Obama would make it legal in an instant if he wasn't being controlled by the underground government which really controls the entire world.

  14. And that indeed makes my point , they haven't figured out how to
test , control and regulate it *yet* , along with the taxation factors. And
as soon as they DO figure it out the majors will move to get it legalised
and get in on the profits.

And most of us won't be able to jump through the hoops that will
inevitably be set up as regards production and will *still* be guilty
    of " unlicensed growing".

Give some thought too , to where exactly things will go once the
big majors jump in , they aren't go to put out anything but a mass
produced crap product , go to the store and buy a pack of Sour Diesel
Fliters , and new regulations may well leave the small quality oriented
producer , the ones the medical marijuana community *really* needs
    out in the cold.

Oh and yes I do agree that O'Bummer is just a puppet , but then
    so was BushLeague too.

By the way I'm going to be selling a new kit across the 'Net to
cure the ills in D.C. , for the paltry sum of 19.95$ you will get
your choice in colors in a lampost , a brand new rope and your
    choice of politician.

  15. You could quite possibly be correct , but you've left out Big
Tobacco , the recreational market is just as big or bigger than
the medical market and with the downturn in cigarette smoking
Big Tobacco is looking for something , anything to save it's ass.

I've lived in some of those states , trust me when I say citizens
there will go along with it if it means more jobs , the textile and
    furniture industries are essentially dead.

  16. The funny thing about this whole ordeal is this

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cyco2QKf3w&feature=channel_video_title]The United States government patents marijuana. - YouTube[/ame]

  17. wow marijuana is STILL a schedule 1 drug? lol

  18. Well, in this case, he's correct dude - multiple posts in a row is called "flooding" and it's against the rules in most message boards, including here.

So next time, ONE post umkay?

  19. if you guys were to give a pro legalization presentation, what points would you touch on?

I dont want to sound like every other kid who gives a speech on legalizing marijuana and telling the audience that marijuana causes 0 deaths per year.
