Storefront Dispensaries (page 11 ): Although medical marijuana “dispensaries” have been operating in California for years, dispensaries, as such, are not recognized under the law. As noted above, the only recognized group entities are cooperatives and collectives. BTW cooperative is not short for co-op. Cooperative takes allot of money to establish, there are more hoops to jump through and money to pay. Either way, you gotta pay an attorney to file paperwork. Dispensaries have always been illegal. I'm not making this shit up. So, not that why people call them dispensaries, but after learning that dispensaries are illegal, why would they continue to call them dispensaries?? And the government is banning "dispensaries". well if you're not a dispensary why call yourself a dispensary...pot heads!!

Come to Michigan. Dispensaries have been illegal here for over a year now. If you want meds it either grow your own, or get a caregiver, any other way is illegal. Its a bitch but its not all to bad.
