dinosaur bones

  1. i just found out that the overwhelming majority of dinosaur "bones" one sees at a museum are not really "bones"...they are the petrified (turned into rock over the ages) copies of the original bones...apparently real bones can only make it thru the eons as real bones under very exceptional circumstances...

felt a bit cheated but hey...:smoke:

  2. Hey man, it's god here. Just wanted to apologize for making bones deteriorate over long periods of time. Sorry for any inconvenience.

    Love,
    God

  3. its true, but trex dna was recovered and sequenced! im sure other dinosaurs have been as well.

id like to see jurassic park irl. now that we have trex dna, we can probly do it.

  4. No, no it hasn't. Some soft tissue (basically elastin) has been reconstituted. It's not DNA in the slightest.
