Diffuser beads, marbels and rocks?

    I've seen those little plastic beads in the bong water before but I've never smoked from one, my friend had these rocks inside his bong and it was really smooth, what kind of rocks were those? And are marbles any different?

    I think the theory behind having those in bong water would be that they break up the bubbles in a more non-traditional way, rather than those of regular percs. As the water bubbles as smoke passes through the rocks should bounce up from the water being disturbed and as the fall or move break up the existing bubbles of smoke. Marbles should do the same thing, but with them being relatively smooth compared to rocks the bubbles may just move around the, rather than break apart.

    Just my guess though

    They are ceramic. They come in a small case for like 15 buck an the large for 25 at my shop where I got them. I really like them

    i just use beads or BBs or something small and round and it will save you some money

    I use jelly like beads. They sell them at my LHS, but I also see them sold at flea markets sold as decorations for vases and stuff. Screw plastic BBs and other garbage.

    Take em out, soak em in iso, and then clean your bong like normal. I can't imagine it'd be TOO tough :bongin:

    I'm gunna check my LHS today and see if they have these, until this morning I've never heard of diffuser beads. This will go great in my new 100ml tooob.

    dragon beads, same things we used way back in my D&D gaming days..we put them in bongs all the time, never thought much of it.

    just be careful if they are around a delicate stem....the D&D gamers may have plastic ones around now days, or one could use the cheap airsoft pellets...
