Hey guys, I'm currently working on my fist grow, and after a few inconvenient set backs, things seem to be going smoothly. The one thing I am worried about is that one of my plants is about 6 inches shorter than the other two. Now if I was using HID lighting, this wouldn't be an issue, but I am using CFL's. I know that I need to keep my lights as close to the plants as possible, but the only way I can do this is by letting the taller plants grow PAST the lights while the shorter one is at the optimum distance from the lights. Does anyone have any idea what I should do? Would it be better for me to raise the lights so that the taler plants are getting better light, or should I keep the light where it is so my shorter plant can get the right light and just hope that enough light is reflecting off of the top of my enclosure?
i would keep the lights above the two taller ones and find something to set the smaller one on to get it at the same hieght with your two tall girls adding anothoer cfl to the bottom wouldnt hurt eithier
Wow, you successfully just made me feel like an idiot... Why had I not thought of that? There could not have been a simpler solution. I guess sometimes it takes an outside perspective to see the simple solution. By the way, thank you.
