Okay so CANADA is behind the times, or maybe I am behind the times. Maybe Montreal and Halifax are wickedly cool - I dont know... But I can see that recreational marijuana use is up these days - and yet TORONTO is in denial and VANCOUVER seems to embrace the trend! Overall that reefer smoking is up is I think a good thing. But it’s still against the law in both places - or is it? It maybe less against the law in Vancouver... . There's a smoke your own institute in TORONTO Kensington Market now, but there was two precedent setting venues on Hastings Street in VANCOUVER for years before TORONTO copycat shop opened - the difference is that in VANCOUVER the locals are selling it – its rampant. In Toronto its hard to find. You gotta know somebody.
THC (The Herb Collective) has Volcanoes that you can pay 5 dollars to smoke your own from, we have other cafes here and there that're also toke-friendly. If you think T.O.'s bad go live in the States.
