These are 2 simple images between a room filled with 600w and a room filled with 1000w. There are a couple of differences: Room Size: 600w room: 34 ft by 34 ft 1000w room: 32 ft by 32 ft Number of lights: 600w room: 80 lights 1000w room 42 lights With the lights that are less stronger there is a better outcome of Yield since there are more lights in the room and the 600w room is 132 sq ft bigger, to get proper rows, than the 1000w room! Check out the numbers on this one
Yes, I've seen the difference between using 600w and 1000w 10 lights of each kind! This is to show people the difference between 600w and 1000w in a space of roughly 33 ft by 33 ft! Theres a bigger yield from the 600w
uh....so you're saying that every single variable was the same in your experiment? same strain same soil same nutes same equipment etc etc?
Wouldnt the Lumens still be the same per sqft between a 600w and a 1000w? And you can save some serious cash on only having to buy half of the lights and ballast.
10 000 lumens / sq ft for the 600w at 1 foot distance and floor space of 3 ft by 3 ft. 7 500 lumens / sq ft for the 1000w at 1 foot distance and floor space of 4 ft by 4 ft. Also the 1000w I usually keep them at 14'' inches since there so power full so it's even less then 7 500 lumens! Money shouldn't be an issue when growing huge crops!
Uh, why not just run sun circles or light tracks? Increase your light foot print, decrease your lights etc...
