Well, if you havn't seen my plants I'll edit this and add a link to my old post of my crappy plants. http://forum.grasscity.com/showthread.php?t=106775 ^^ There they are. Thats like... well however old that post is is when they were taken. Anyway, my plants are really shitty. I kinda fucked up, and even the spot they're in is no good, I go out there at 12, no sun, 2 no sun, 5, no sun, 6 no sun... theres no sun! There use to be sun almost all day....... but yeah... Anyway the top new leaves are starting to turn yellow on the inside, and the outsides green. Both bright colours. The bottom leaves are curling and turning brown and crispy, some fall off and die. And theres spiderwebs fucking everywhere. I havn't given them budding fertilizer yet. Its probbaly time.. But before I do, I've got a question. Is it worth buying the fertilizer and looking after them the rest of the year or should I just say fuck it..... I've got barly any money, so all I could get is fertilizer, if any. Like are these things even gonna produce bud.....or just fucking die?
from the sounds of things youll be lucky if they live I see they are in pots....so move them to the sun your pics dont show the webs, but given the dying leaves you probabally have spider mites sucking th life out of the plants...look on the undersides of the leaves.if you see tiny spider mites and fine webbing on the leaves and stems make some tea with a quart of water and a pak of cigarettes mist the plants (under side of leaves in particular) wipe the leaves and spray again spray again in 3 days incase you missed any eggs
83 people and one reply... thanks everyone! Heh, I can't find a good spot.... (Water) I think this fall/winter I might have to cut some trees down for the spot I have.... Anyway heres some pictures. The yellowing has gone away, the one picture shows the small amount that still there, it was allover. The browning/crispyness/dieing is still contining.....on the lower leaves.... So should I give them budding fertilizer?
better pics ....ok thats not spider mites , you have a nute deficiency of sorts, need complete details, watering, soil, ph If your defenitely not over watering, I would give them a MILD dose of ferts, and give them a week or so
Uhh... Yeah I know what spider mites are, and I do have them. I dind't take a pictue of them though, I pulled them off and sprayed. They're in well those huge pots, and I give them about 3L of water every 3 day, sometimes even more if I'm out of town.... never goes dry though Soil is sunshine mix #4 equivilant, pro mix. Has all the good stuff. They are being given Miracle Grow slow release plant food of like... 19 6 12 ph I have no idea They're on slow time release, so should I give them budding fertilizer
i cant really give you any good advice as to what to do with them but my plants are real pieces of shit too and i still baby the hell outta them. more just as a hobby and for somthin to do than to get smokable buds. i started with like 30-35 seedlings and only got 2 shitty ass plants left. first grow and i royaly f'd it up. well live and learn, ill do it waaaayyyy better next year. but hey man dont give up on em if nothin else maby youll get a few grams to toke just for the hell of it ya know, kinda cool to get baked offa your own work. i say take care of em and hope for the best. ill send your plants some positive vibes if you do the same to mine hahaha. well good luck with your shitty plants.
theres the problem MG time release, your not alone with this problem, common Id suggest they have nute lockout, build up of salts from the time release ferts, they burn the roots as they reach the pellet, they plant shuts down nutrient intake. transplant and flush with water, 3 times the volume of the plant container EG: 2 gal container =6 gal. flush you may want to add 1 table spoon epsom salts per gal to aid in the nute intake also cut back on the watering schedule..let them dryout, then water..overwatering also causes nute lockout
Yeah, I was told to use Fulvic Acids on the 15th, but I can't aford it..... Which clears the roots, before giving them a new fertlizer on the 1st of September.... Transplant? Transplant to what new soil?? I can't aford new soil! Plus all the work to getting it to the spot, I had to get people to drive it for me, and carry it at night with my cellphone flashlight..... And flushing would be so hard for me, for I have to fill up milk jugs from a river, and carry them.... What if.... I like took the top layer of soil off and flushed, well actualy I gues that wouldn't do any good...... Well maybe with the salt..... Any other suggestions either than transplant? And thanks Johny, send some postive vibes too
mine did this: but they are still flowering nice - wife rang me up to say there's all like christmas trees sticking up & it smells Ah the perils of working away :/ - problem was due to a failed fan & extreme lack of vent & hi temps - even tho i only use 600w enviro :/ I know that's an indoor grow, but the point is, with care, ur plants can recover well.......... Remove any signs of decay asap, flush out with gallons of water & hopefully they will live * avoid time release shit in future tho m8 - u can't calculate the dosing with time release = 1 week they starve, next week it rains & they get over chemmed. Liquid dilutable ferts are way better - takes a while to get used to it, but i can more or less guarantee that it's the time release feed that's killing ur weed.
YES TIME RELEASED FERTS IN YOUR SOIL WILL MOST LIKELY CONTINUE TO DO THIS this shit aint free, if its too much work & $10.00 of soil is too much walk away
No that Miracle Grow Soil will never be real good for growing MJ. next year find some Fox farm whatever Organic soil with no timerelease ferts. a bad of FF on cost me 22. And you can get a bag of soil at the hardware store for like 3-5 bucks peace wwonka
Yeah, k so what if I can't fix the soil. Will they bud the way the are? Are continueing? Will I get bud off them......... Are they going to bud? ^^ its the title of the post, no ones answerd=/
