did I make the right move with my dealer?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by DoctorReefer, Jul 30, 2012.

  1. ok blades, so here's the scoop, but first some background info.

I've known my dealer, as a friend but not a good friend since we were kids (18 now) and only recently started buying from him like idk a month ago. I buy from him because his weed is very good. prices are a little high for my taste (55 an eighth and no price break on the quarter,) but I deal with it because hes not my only dealer.

k, with that out of the way, I Just got back from a picking up an 1/8. I got home and weighed it and it came out to be 3.1, the past few bags were .2 short. well I decided to txt him and im going to type the exact conversation word for word.
me: whats the weight limit on your scale?
him: uhhh i have no idea. You wanna buy it.
me: No i was gonna let you borrow my calibration weight cause these past few bags have all been a little short. usually like .2 but this one was .4 its nbd but .2 r .4 of dank can mean the diff between getting high one more time for me. im sure its not YOUR fault though:)

    he hasnt texted back lol

  2. No problem with you telling him it didn't weigh out. The worst thing that could happen would be finding a new dealer.

  3. you should probably stop buying from him if you like to get legit bags.

  4. i woulda been a bit firmer with him and let him know your not happy with the fact the bags are falling short but yea don't let a guy rip you off and if it is just a mistake with his scales then no big deal and he should buff up your next bag to make up for it. :)

  5. If youre payin those prices, then he should be hooking it up .2-.4 not skimping it

  6. Yes, you did. You should always get what you pay for.

  7. that's what i'm say'n.

he actually just txtd back and asked what my scale weight was. hopefully i let him borrow the weight for a day, he hooks me up fat on the next one, we both go on pretending like it was just his scale and he never shorts me again. if not fuck him ill just spend less other places.

I do have one more question though. should I tell him to hook me up on the next one or just see if he does it. the only reason i'm tempted not to tell him to is because he knows that i know hes been short on cash lately and asking for more than 3.5 would be a little douchey considering his position. but shorting me is a hell of a lot more of a douche move on him. right?

  8. the way you put 'YOU' in all capitals came off as sarcastic to me, like he proly feels you really meant that you Did think it was his fault.
Mighta pissed him off. But, he Did short you, gota say somethin or forever be a bitch.

that is what i meant in a way. it was my way of implying i'm not naive the smiley face simply implied i wasn't super pissed at him for it though

  10. It worth a shot, just tell him you can get better deals and they hook it up, but hes your bro and you want to help him out. Its not douchey at all, its douchey youre buying of him and he DOESNT do it without you asking
