did i let it simmer long enough?

  1. last night i tried to make cannabutter for the first time. i used ~10 grams mids to 1/3 cup of salted butter.

    i actually ended up doing it on a gas grill outside because of the smell.

    anyways i based it off of hashmouf's guide. i boiled the butter down, added but, let it heat for 15 or 20 mins.
    then it cooled for an hour and a half, then i reheated it again for like 15 mins at a higher heating and let it cool overnight.

    did i give it enough time to extract?

    if not would it cause any harm to melt the butter and add the used bud again (i kept it) and then resift it again
