Did I Infuse With Butter The Right Way?

    i got a almost 30 mls of butter and heated it for 30 mins with 1 gram of weed

    im doing small amounts since its my first batch and id rather lose a little than a lot

    so as i was cooking the butter turned to a dark colour and the weed felt crunchy when i was stirring it,
    is that supposed to happen or did i burn it?

    either way the brownies are cooking now but do you think i destroyed the THC?
