  1. As the name implies, you can't not F-up a FIM. Merry Merry, Happy Happy.

  3. I wondered the same thing when I FIM and didn’t see big results. But I guess you don’t get drastic change from FIMing, or am I wrong?

  5. Thanks for showing me the effects of topping. I just topped two of my plants last week. The only thing is, it t seems to have stunted the growth for them. I have 6 plants, 2 clones fim, and 6 bag seed growing. Topping seems to be very stressful for the plant, but your pictures make it seem worth it. Did it take a while for your plants to recover?

  6. everytime i topped growth stopped for 3days (before 30days)

  7. I've never experienced stunting, slowing or stressing. I grow autos, transplant to final pot day after sprout, wait till 5th node for a quadline, 6th node for a sixline, top and remove everything under 3rd node. This takes place 14-21 days after sprout. Lst daily, bend, crop, trim or remove anything blocking bud sites. Merry Christmas

  8. I fimmed mine and I had great results. Each plant has 5 or 6 major branches now. I also did not experience any slow down. Wouldnt matter so much anyways since they are photos and no autos. Ill keep fimming going forward for now

  9. If a FIMing was sucessful you'll have 4 tops where there would have been 2.

Its a combo of dumb luck and the plant hormones.

    Cheers

  10. You may have topped too early. Mine showed zero signs of stress and didn't skip a beat. I waited until the 6th node was popping out before I topped. Gotta give them a little time to grow roots first.

  11. Yep, I did it way too early then. It was on its fourth node. “She’s” rebounding now.

well, I’d hate to find out, my first time and all. I keep reading, on this forum site, how they “do” get stressed from topping and that FIM is a less stressful technique on the plant. So many different opinions on here.
