Did Haarlem reject the wietpas?

    Did Haarlem reject the wietpas, is there any chance that Amsterdam will do the same?? Thanks! :smoke:

  2. I'll translate the litte summary belowe the title for you.
    "Coffeeshops in Haarlem will soon introduce a new quality label (there's no exact English translation for the word "keurmerk"but this comes close) for coffeeshops. With this, the controversial weed pass can be thrown in the garbage, expects mayor Bert Schneiders. With the quality label, Haarlem is a national first."

    It is a quality label that owners of coffeeshops can recieve if they help counter nuisances. Amsterdam doesn't want the weed pass, and neither does Haarlem. That doesn't mean that it won't be forced upon them by the national government though. They could be a little bold though and refuse to enforce the law. This whole wietpas thing is probably not gonna happen in Amsterdam anyway.
