I did all the research I could and cant find anything matching what I have. This BC Big Bud plant is 24 days old and the browning is spreading all over the plant. I have not given any nutes yet. My PH is 6.0 and slowly being raised with dolomite lime since being 5.8 5 days ago. It is 12 inches below a 250 watt HPS light with 3 other plants which are not showing same discoloration (yet). If anyone has a clue what is wrong here it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx
As long as your not overwatering...I think you've fixed the problem. Let the lime work. Those leaves are gonners, watch the new growth.
Only if they're touching the soil. OTW just leave them, they'll fall off soon enough. You should also start your nutes unless you've got soil that already has some. MG, FF, etc. Start slow...1/8 strength. If it's growing well and nice and green...stick to that. Over watering and over ferting are the big problems people face...that and wacky ph. 95% of the problems here are 1. Too much water. 2. Too much ferts. 3. Fucked up ph. People shouldn't use tap water. I try to use rain water whenever possible. Did you lime the others too? It won't hurt. They'll want the Mg/Ca later anyway...
update. watered 4 of six plants and the PH is between 6.0 and 6.5 on all 4! Since I'm using FFOF i'll wait another week or so at least before thinking nutes
