Diaper gell mixed in to soil

    Anyone try breaking open an unused diaper and mixing the powder into your soil?

    Youd most likely just drown your plant. People add perlite for extra drainage, cannabis needs good draining soil

    You can use coconut husk, it will hold moisture, so if ur gorilla growing you don't have to water as often they do same with diapers, but who knows wtfs in that gell, so get coco nut husk soak in 5 gal pail of water, throw handful in each hole when u plant :)

    Vermiculite will also hold water for a longer period of time

    Perlite has many properties including water retention. That's one reason that it promotes aeration. It will soak up the water and release it slowly when the plant needs it.

    Diaper gel is not the same as perlite like it's specifically designed to never let go of the water it absorbs, otherwise you'd have pissy babies. Not worth it

    I meant to say use perlite instead. It does everything the diaper gel does including a host of other beneficial soil properties.

    Might be useful in very arid climates. More than likely a mould factory in humid climates

    I mean, I get it but I had a hard time putting that on my daughter's butt... Much less in my system.

    Do you just not feel like watering your plant regularly? Because that'd be the only reason to do that. Please research other ways to do this but cannabis doesn't like to be surrounded by moisture like that anyway, Dude. It needs a good drying before eating. Did someone suggest this to you when they were high?

    So the short answer is s**t no! This is something that works great for someone like my wife who forgets to water her plants (flowers) for months at a time. Seems to me that perlite dries out much faster then diaper gel.. Just curious. Not planning on doing this unless someone can tell me that it has worked well for them first.

    No one will be able to tell you it has worked for them, as I'd bet you are the first person to think about adding this toxic material to you soil.

    Sodium polyacrylate is what that gel is called. DO NOT PUT IT ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR PLANTS!!!!!!! Even if it doesn't kill your plant, it kills rats. That should tell you it's not something you want to ingest by smoking it.
