I'm looking for a set of decent quality desktop speakers with a sub for ~$100. I'm looking for mainly good quality in the sub, as I listen to a lot of dubstep. I came across this and it looks promising, but I'd like to look at other options before I make a decision. Swan M10 Note: I am a complete audio noob, so I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing when it comes to choosing speakers/subs.
does your pc have surround sound hookups, or just a single green audio jack. Not a expert but logitech sales some good stuff for a reasonable price. Well, I've got more than just green back there. What would a surround sound jack look like? Is that shit color coded? Sorry, I really know nothing about audio.
Here check out this, [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Z-2300-THX-Certified-Speaker-Subwoofer/dp/B0002SQ2P2[/ame] killer deal. Usually when you have 5.1 it looks somthing like this, the top three. http://www.overclock3d.net/gfx/articles/2008/01/30234203629l.jpg otherwise youd just have a green jack.
Ahh, alright, I've got 5.1 then, awesome. And that one looks good. I'm looking for something that can stand a little bit of power, if that helps with some suggestions.
In the $100 range the Logitech z-2300 beats everything. These will be compatible with what you got. Heres a review. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va9zSKt6vVE&feature=fvw[/ame]
Yes thats true A LOT are overpriced. I have always bought Logitech. Love there 5.1 surround, bar none! Specific models are up to you but Amazon or Ebay will be your best choices. I like Amazons reviews to!
