Depressed withdrawing from weed...

  1. So I've been smoking daily a good amount of haxixe.. Here in Portugal it is easy to find as buying cigars!
    My problem is that my high only lasts for 30 minutes or so! I use to love the numb feeling for sleep but now it only lasts me a couple of minutes. I know potency is important but I don't wanna overdoit.. So what I'm trying to do is to reduce my intake but at night I have a lot of nightmares.. That's why I came here when withdrawal kicks in what you do? I'm depressed without lighting up boredom is the worst.. So please share your thoughts what did you do to reduce your intake to only weekends! Its been a day without toking and the feelings of my ex girl that I used to cope with weed is coming back! I hate this because when I begin to get sober or my permastone goes away the old feelings for her comes in a rush like the dreams.. Sorry for the TLDR..

  2. EXERCISE!!! Exercise releases your body's own versions of THC, the endocannabinoids, 2-AG and anandamide! You've heard of a "runner's high"? That is your body reacting to the release of endocannabinoids. Exercise, and the withdrawal will lessen!

    What is happening is that your body has gotten "lazy" about making your endocannabinoids, since cannabis can "fill in" for them! Right now, you are low on endocannabinoids and you feel "down". In a few days, your body will adjust and normal levels of production will start up again.

    So go put on some " high energy music" and work up a real sweat! You'll feel better afterwards! :rave-girl:

    (And about the girl, a good "revenge" is to get "buffed" so other girls will notice you! Girls do this all the time - we get dumped, and head directly toward the beauty parlor so we can show him what he lost! :p)

  3. Thats a really great answer thanks bro ill try that! ! Also I'm supplementing with gaba natural product and it eases the withdrawal symptoms! I'll start workout like a madman so

  6. Thank you all im glad ive join this forum looks like I'm not the only one trying to reduce of course the feeling of lighting up one will never disappear but we can always ease it
     
  7. So its been two days without toking! I had a session with a friend today and I smoked some! And I feel great cravings are slowing down :) and of course exercise I made 10km walking and 40km on bike! Exercise is really the key component! ;)
