Demon bugs all over the roots of my plants!

    There are black bugs all over the roots of my plants. I have done a ton of research and looked everywhere and have found nothing! Can anyone give a guess what they are? Are they harmfull?

    Its in a drip system, in 4x4 rockwool cubes with hydroton underneath

    Sounds like root aphids. they can be stopped. do some research on products.

    if they are attached to the roots i would say... yes, harmful.
