it is week seven on my LST and growth is pretty slow, and I have been in 12/12 for 5 days now... only got two 27 watt cfls on it right now in a 2.75 sq/ft area... gonna pick up a couple y sockets today and throw up another couple stronger bulbs.... Prior to starting the new light cycle I noticed a couple blades of two different leaves grew like hooks to the side (not curling)... I stumbled on some info just a minute ago saying that this could be a sign of a potassium difficiency.... so now im thinkin i gotta ish-can my nutrients (vigoro palm, ixora & ornamental plant food 8-4-8) cause not enough potassium... also Ive noticed one of the fan leaves has exactly half the tip (left side of middle stem) a very off white color.... my question is, does this make any sence? Or is my assuming that its a potassium dificiency incorrect? Also, Can i check the PH of my Water accurately with a Pool ph testing kit?... this is only my first grow so all advice is welcome... no way to get pics on computer
Yes you ban use a pool water tester. You're also using an all purpose nute w/too much N and yes, not enough P for flowering. bbl store run...alex
