Defoliating beginning week2 flower to early?

    I have 10 plants flowering just starting week 2. Became very bushy and bottom of plants began to struggle and create white spots. I believe it was thrips so I decided to defoliate to create more air flow and less coverage for them as i saw a few hopping around not many at all. Is this ok I have defoliate so early in flower :/

    I defoliated mine beginning week one of flower and here she is tonight ending week 2 starting 3[​IMG][​IMG]

    She looks great.. I like how the bottom is so clean lol. I'm take a few pics of mine. But if I did have a slight pest issue will defoliation help out with it, I saw like 7 thrips. I'm take some pics now..

    Those little buggers I was hoping I wouldn't have to make the journey to the grow shop again, that's 2 hours out of my day tomorrow (

    Do I just add to water and spray plants seen as there so early flower

    I have 6 gelatos ( won't be doing them again after this run) last one that finished with them from 5 plants I got 12 oz it's abit of a low yielder under 1000w :/. Also have 5 wedding cakes, which last run I got 13.5 from 3 plants under 600w. So after this I'm be doing 5 wedding cake and 5 tangerine dream. I run 1 600w and 1000w together.
