Long story short my old diffuser broke so I went and got a new one 18 to 14. I got this pure diffuser to match my tube and it doesnt fit past the female piece. Has anyone had this problem before? I tried it on 3 different pures and it won't fit in any. The label says pure downstem standard 14mm.
I think your problem is that the joint for your downstem on the bong is 14mm and not 18mm. The downstem has a 14mm joint for the bowl but the actual downstem is 18mm, so it won't fit. Tell me, if you drop a dime into the joint on your bong, does it fall through the joint and get stuck on the inside? Or does it not even fit inside.
This on an 18m joint the dime should fall through. Looks like you need a 14/14 high profile stem. Not at 18/14 low profile stem. Get it clean and take it back
never used it and the store has a now refund policy.. Also i tried it on 2 other pures and it didn't fit. The dime got stuck on the inside.
It looks like the sticker is still on, so if you explain to them the situation, and make big deal out of it(without being rude) im sure they will refund for store credit.
yeah it does have the sticker im gonna try that and I have a pic of it not fitting 3 different pures. what size is the joint on the tube then? the last downstem I bought from them fit and they said it was a 18/14
traded it in it was deffective. it was blown too thick and wouldnt fit in any tube in the store. they traded it out for another one exactly like it and it fits fine 18/14
That's awesome, im glad they owned up to their mistake. This is the first time ive seen a piece of glass be TOO thick haha
