Decriminalized in Mississippi?

  1. Cool cool... good luck bro!

  2. Read that link! First offense is 100-250 dollar fine, no jail time, but IS A MISDEMEANOR! You will have a criminal record. That means that it is NOT decriminalized. It says at the bottom of the page that it is to a certain extent(no jail time for first offense). If you are caught with it inside your car (except trunk) the penalties are harsher even if it is your first offense with 30g or less and you can lose your license for 6 months.

Just because you guys weren't written citations doesn't mean shit! You got lucky that it was a mellow, cool cop that caught you. It could have been a lot worse for you. Be thankful!

Decriminalized is what CA is now. An ounce or less in possession is a $100 fine. Like a jaywalking ticket or littering. It is now an INFRACTION not a MISDEMEANOR. It never goes on your record. Doesn't matter how many times you get caught. Of course unless you have an MMJ Card, then you can have at least a half a pound with you depending on what county you are in.
