Decoding Exxodus

    Was wondering if anybody had the chance to Catch Decoding Exxodus by

    James Cameron on the Discovery Channel last night??


    If you have, what are your thoughts?

    Personally, I felt my faith increase sooo much more. To think, now there is Scientific

    evidence to prove that Everything happened in Exxodus just the way it was described.

    Phenominal. Praise God!!!

    I'm not sure exactly. But the great thing about Discover channel is if you miss

    the line up at 8-11 p.m. it repeats the same line-up from 12-2 a.m.

    I'm sure it'll come on again this week or on the weekend. You definately

    wanna check it out.

    You should also check out the Penn & Teller Bullshit! Episode on the Bible...it truly is entertaining.

    I watched it. But even they admit that God would have needed to intervene in all of it. It just gives you an idea of how he may have manipulated nature.

    hmm...maybe we were watching two different exodus shows....

    Mine was done by James Cameron. It played august 20th I think...it was a sunday I know that, and it talked about a Volcano probably being the source of the plauges, but that they said that God probably manipulated it for it to be able to do things like kill only the first born.

    *edit* your's is James Cameron, too. But I watched it on the History Channel.

    ahh, OK. I think i understand what you mean.

    Your saying that God was behind it and By manipulating you mean carrying out his

    will?

    If that is what you mean then too sum it up this is Proof that God did the things that

    were written in Exxodus. Which is AWESOME. It's better than any sci-fi or harry

    potthead book because it actually happened.

    Sure.

    First off, the original Time frame for the Exxodus is wrong. Currently we have the

    Exxodus in the time of Ramses which is inaccurate(Exxodus never mentions the

    pharoah, i think). Well as you may well know Moses was put in the Nile and floated

    down into the Princess's Hands. She then adopted him. Well come to find out moses

    brother, also the Princess's son was the Pharoah during Moses's quest.

    Funny, but the actual translation of This pharoah means Brother of Moses.

    They proved the parting of the sea wasn't the Red sea but actuallly the Reed Sea.

    The proved how the 10 plagues came about. Went in depth on how each one was

    brought about.

    Found similar writings on Greece buildings that coinside with Exxodus and Moses.

    A bunch more too. I'll try and find out when it comes on again and let you know.

    I'm at work so i type a little stop and have to do something and then type a little.

    Too bad there is no shred of Moses anywhere but the Bible...and also how can people wandering in the desert for 40 years not leave behind 1 piece of archeological evidence? These topics have been covered in other threads, which is why I have suggested we make a new thread dedicated to debating this sort of thing.

    Dude, he just said that they found evidence on Greek buildings.

    That wasn't taken out of the Bible.
