I was having a debate with a prohibitionist today. There was a crowd of about 20 people there. I wish it would have been filmed but sorry to say it wasn't. Here is the jist of the debate. He brought up the gateway effect. I debunked it with scientific facts. Every point he brought up I debunked with facts. He brought up about meth, and other hard drugs. I shut him down by saying that they are irrelevant and that we were talking about cannabis not those drugs. He did not know how to procede after that. It just plain stumped him and killed his argument. I made a final point by stating "So you feel by continuing to keep cannabis illegal that it is ok for the American public to continue funding the violence perpetrated by the Mexican cartels, and to continue to fund Alqueda so that they can kill American soldiers and citizens." I wish you all could have been there to see his reaction to that statement. He thought about it a second then turned and walked away. But the look on his face was priceless.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but the pot being trafficked into the U.S. from the mid east is so miniscule compared to the domestic and Mexican market. I don't know where you people are getting Al Qaeda from anywhere...No members of Al Qaeda are trafficking any drugs, anywhere. Al Qaeda needs to stay out of this thread, because it has nothing to do with anything.

no man al qaeda gets alot of its funding through drug deals, actually its main funding is through drugs. so yes all drugs should be legalized thus ending the funding towards terrorism.
