One year ago today, I was celebrating my buddy Nic Powell's 22nd birthday. This year, I'm packing a bowl in his memory. Almost seems like all the good people are gone before you get the chance to let them know they're appreciated. Bong time.

Aw fuck, this makes my sad again... a very very good friend of mine died 2 years ago, and I cant stop thinking about it, reminiscing about all the good memorys... :'( but who knows, maybe death is the best thing that can happen to us, we will all find out one day... RIP Detlef...

He passed away of a drug overdose from a substance he is allergic to, while in jail (one week before being released to see his daughter.) Honestly, I knew the guy very well and I know for a fact that he wouldn't kill himself, or take some stupid drugs while in jail, he wanted nothing more then to see his daughter. He was only in for like 3 months. I'm almost positive there was foul play... but there was practically no investigation.
Hes saying waht he believes in why are you to tell him its not right or it shouldnt be said. imo religion is just a way to help people accept death and stop people doing morally bad things. no need to shit on him for his beliefs
That's rough, man. He left a daugher too? Fucking hell, they say you should value all life equally but some deaths are definitely sadder than others. Again, all mine and GC's sympathies on my behalf. Also don't mind the Jack McClellan guy, I'm pretty sure it's a troll account, it was only created a week or so ago and all the posts have had that theme to them.
My friend died a little over a year ago too...it makes you realize time flies and your life can end at any moment. Unfortunately, he committed suicide and he had enough of life. Live every minute to the fullest and live life the way you want.
While I agree with what you are saying, don't turn this into a religious arguement. Might want to edit your post and take out the "fuck yourself" part...heads up for mods. Death doesn't have to be bad, I think it's a release from all problems. A return to your true natural state of conciousness. I've never dealt with losing a close loved one though, I hope I never have to, but I know I will. It is a disgusting part of life.

As for the OP's post I guess it came with years of M.D.D. (Major Depressive Disorder) But I don't really fear death or look at it as some terrible thing. Of course it's awful when someone innocent is taken from us, for no reason such as your friend, or the death of a child. But for lots of people everyday death can be a sweet release from a painful life. And not just physical pain. Mental pain can be just as torturing. I don't really think I fear death anymore. Being depressed pushed me towards the fringe of society and I was at a point where I was alive while being dead. And somehow it made me accepting of death's blessing. I know I probably sound crazy but maybe someone will understand my point of view.
