I'm gonna say, I'm more a fan of thrash metal than anything, however, Macabre is definitely my favorite death metal band. Sinister Slaughter is a great album with each song dedicated to a different serial killer. They take a more humourous approach to their shit, but it's still great fucking music.

yes! scar symmetry is amazing. right now im listening to new despised icon. they arent reallly death metal tho becuase of the breakdowns. which are fuckin sick btw. haha
going to see BTBAM and The Faceless on october 1st. can't wait. in flames and 3 inches of blood will be there too, but I don't really care about them. but I guess the faceless is as close to death metal as that show will get to. oh, and MVP and Eulogy from Despised Icon's new album blast my face off every time.
The Faceless is sick as fuck. Ahh. Eulogy is a really good song. The last song on the album, Sleepless I think it's called, is so fucking dreary. I love it. Necrophagist is really fucking good. One of my fav bands. I saw them last year at Florida DeathFest with Aborted, 1349, Suffocation, some other good bands, and some good local bands. Necrophagist was by far the best though. I wish I could see Meshuggah though. Nothing is probably one of the best albums, ever.
I was meaning to ask man, on ButtholeGuitar, how fast is the double bass? Sounds like it's maybe 280? Haha Fuckin Inferno double bass.

Beneath the Massacre is really fucking good. Absolutely love them. Elliot is probably one of the best vocalists around. Ion Dissonance is really fucking good too. Can't wait for their new CD to come out.
