If I'm not mistaken, the catholic church has accepted evolution and stated they don't find it necessarily contradictory to christian beliefs. That, of course, does not stop conservative christians in america from flipping out over it.
Judaism has accepted the existence of other beings in the universe since after the destruction of the second Temple. We believe that there are other dimensions, concurrent with this one, that harbor other life. We call them spiritual beings, but that does not necessarily mean non corporeal. The Christian gnostics believed and still believe the same things. The Bible just simply doesn't state what you say it does
