Deadhead's "Blue Dream Grow Journal" ------

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by deadheadganja, Oct 26, 2012.

  1. I'll post some progress of my Blue Dream grow in case anyone is interested in the final outcome.

Blue Dream from clones, using Fox Farm Happy Frog with entire line of Fox Farm nutrients except Kangaroot and Sledgehammer. The grow room is missing reflective material on the wall, I have some mylar on the way.

First picture is nearly 2 weeks ago. The last one is today.

  2. Ill watch dude. Love the strain and the grow looks nice so far by the way. How big is your cab? Or is it a closet? Looks similar size to mine. I started vegging clones two weeks ago as well check out my grow!! Lol.
Look forward to.growing with you buddy

  3. Thanks man, I heard it has a nice yield, the veggie state is growing pretty fast. It's a tasty strain too if it comes out right. I'm working with a 11foot height by 6foot by 6foot, it's a walk-in closet. Got 6 of them going right now :)

  4. goddamn your stuff grows fast. my stuff is almost a month and not that tall as yours

are you growing out Blue Dream?
once i started added the big bloom and grow big it started producing a lot more nodes

they're right at 3 feet now
    :smoking:

  6. ...lol

    Looking good! :)

  7. why lol? im still in veggie state, im gunna let them grow about another foot tall before i start to flower them. i think that's the tallest i should go, idk how much they stretch during flower

  8. Sick breh, make sure to strip all the bullshit off for flowering.

All the shady business you know. We don't like them shadows round these parts :devious:

what do you mean exactly? i didn't want to cut anything off, they're all producing nodes where looks like buds will form

can i literally just cut anything i want off the plant when its growing out in veggie and it wont stunt the growth at all? or certain parts?

  10. The stuff down there, without direct light, will try to form, but maybe get 20% done at best. If you chop it off, that weight will just collect in the top nugs, the smokable worth clipping stuff. I take alof off my plants, like maybe even 6 lower branches of more in come cases.

  11. makes sense, was just nervous that it would somehow mess up the plant by cutting it.

how can one mess up trimming the branches? or that's pretty impossible?

  12. Never use any technique on any unhealthy plant. Simple as that.

  13. When will you flower those? And theyr 3 feet tall after 2 weeks, what the blaze?!

  14. jeebus.. i'm growing blue dream and a few other strains right now

i've added grow big once a week since getting it and haven't seen any tremendous growth. i'm limiting the amount of water i give it because the pots are still moderately heavy

  15. Just laughed because I've never seen anyone call the veg state "veggie state" and thought it was kinda funny! :)

  16. i got them as clones, and its now been actually 3 weeks to the date since i got them. and the tallest part is right at 3 feet. i want some more branches to fill out and get a bit taller then i will flower

    :smoking:

  17. did a bit of trimming to the plants....

  18. I trimmed out some lower growth today too. Great minds think alike

  19. Looking good! If you have something you can use to raise those smaller plants up, they will benefit from being at the same height as the rest of the canopy. Might stretch a bit down there in the shade. IMHO :)

    Edit: Hundredth post! :hello: lol

  20. It looks like you could definitely benefit from some side lighting! I was thinking of picking up a few 125w (400w) equivalent CFLs for just such a purpose.
