De-Sensitized and De-Humanized

  1. Stop it.

    Stop that noise.

Stop crying, what do you have to cry about?

Children should be seen and not heard.

Where do you get such stupid questions?

    Who told you that word?

How long have you been standing there?

    What are you hiding?

    Show me your knuckles.

    Put up your dukes.

Wipe that smile off your face.

    Turn and walk away.

What was that smart ass remark?

You can die and go to hell for all I care.

You can fuck off and die and go to hell in a handcart for all I care.

My pride says I disown you.

You are letting down your entire family when you think like that.

We are a people who hold a high standard.

Your fathers fought wars to show how much they love you, and this is the thanks they get?

Why can't you accept the way things are?

What are you trying to pull?

Who do you think that you are?

You'd better learn to walk that line.

    Put a cork in it.

You're making me feel like I need a lobotomy.

How could you break my heart like that?

What did I do to deserve you?

I don't want to even hear you breathing in there.

I'd better not hear you laughing.

    Stop It.

    Good night, my sweet.

The most loving parents and relatives commit murder with smiles on their faces. They force us to destroy the person we really are: a subtle kind of murder.

    perhaps of relevance?

  4. Very relevant.

An alternative title for the thread was, " Things my Mother said between I love you's". I don't know how many of these I passed on to my child, all for the love and desperation of parenthood.

Sometimes we become cruelest, when we are most trusted.

Something to remember, something to understand, something to try and change.

  5. Couldn't agree more. This is a very important thread.

  6. Imagine raising 1,000 kids on some remote island to let them become themselves with only the most basic necessary education of living and allowing them to completely be themselves. Then bring them here and watch them change the world.

By the way, I really like this thread. +rep
