It will be interesting to see what the DEA does when they start growing and distributing the marijuana,regardless of any "regulations" that the DC city council and congress has implemented. As far as I can tell the only way to keep the feds from kicking your doors down and killing your dog is to grow your own.
If they have medical up and running in DC, where Fed law is the word, it would appear the only way for them not to knock down our doors is to allow the FED to grow it for us. Exactly as its setting up. Two states with "legal" weed, and medical in DC of all places, and here I sit unable to even get medical.
