Dayton blower/aircooled hps setup. Need help

  1. I need to know if this will work for ventilating my aircooled hood. Or if there is a better way. I made a picture in paint to show my idea but i will explain it first. The fan (exhaust flange) will fit into a piece of plywood in the window to blow out the hot air. Duct tubing will go from the intake flange to one flange on the aircooled reflector (the flange farthest from the bulb) the other flange will be left open, so air can get sucked into the opened flange, go through the reflector and be sucked into the blower, where it will be exhausted out the window. There is a glass lens on it also. I just need to know if this is the proper way to cool the hood. Here is the picture so you can get an idea also.
