daylight cfl

    Are compact "daylight" fluroescent lights ok for growing? or do i have to get cooooooool white.

    daylight is fine. usually "daylight" bulbs are close to 6500K which is what you want.

    Daylight floros are very similar in spectrum to cool whites. 6500k is good for vegging, but once you start flowering i would atleast pick up some red spectrum cfl's (2700k) or an hps system.
