A pompousness only a mother could love.

Well the American people are speaking and it seems there's a Tsunami blowing through Washington</ST1:p. Sort of reminds me of that movie that just came out, “Flushed Away.” Anyway… Let me tell you guys and dolls what my guilty pleasure is right now, come a little closer… (Secret: watching Fox News.) I don't believe I've ever had this much satisfaction watching the Boob tube before, but there's a first time for everything. The People at Fox look like they were told their families were wiped out and it was impossible to recover the bodies.

They were grim faced and monotone in their interplay.
    <O:p</O:p
Gone was the daily smugness and arrogance. Now Fox has to come to terms with this new shift in the political landscape. Thing is, the war has brought the U.S.</ST1:p down, it's hollowed out our moral authority, and most profoundly it's made us question who we are. Regardless of what your political leanings may be there's a general depression of the hopes of people. It's kinda like they got their asses kicked by reality. You can only stay the course so long before you run straight into a brick wall.
    <O:p</O:p
Oh yeah I forgot to mention that Fox News was strapped to the front of “stay the course.” They all looked so exposed, so craven in their self-pity. I would liken them to a bunch of cold blooded lizards growing ever more lethargic as the sun sat. Pathetic.
    <O:p</O:p
I'm delighting in their misery but I'm grieving for my lost America </ST1:pbecause they're clearly signaling to Congress that they want change, but sadly, the Democrats were the only alternative in their minds. It's sort of like the choice between a lethal injection or being hung, either way you end up dead. This election has proved on thing in my mind, the American people really do want change; they're just too lazy to go that final distance to realize the promise of it.

    Stay green.

  2. Damn; I was hoping this would be an announcement about a remake of the 1980's zombie film.

Way to get my hopes up, AK.

  3. Word, either way you'd be watching the same thing as I am right now on Fox.
