I chopped off a little sample bud today so I can start getting my dry environment dialed in this is 75% cloudy trichs 22% clear and3% amber the smell is unbelievable
Perfect dry is 777 70 degrees, 7 days, 70% humidity. Slow dry is Key. Do not let it get to dry to fast. 65-62% is where you want to finish at the end of 7 days. BNW
Wet Trim. I'm in Southern California so it's the low humidity I have to fight. 45% most of the time but when the on shore wind changes to off shore it's stone dry desert air and the humidity will drop to 2% and can ruin a hanging harvest in just hours. BNW
Wet trim has always been my choice as well because the sugar leaves are sticking straight out, making it easier to chop without cutting into trichomes. You will make mistakes and cut some, just not nearly as many with a wet trim IMO. Good luck!
i usually like to wet trim all the big stuff but honestly get lazy when it comes to the little stuff i usually leave some sugar leaf and just strip them off when they dry and i use that for doobies
