i flipped 14 days ago and they are starting to bud but never really stretched more than maybe 5 or 6 inches is that normal for white widow? i am pleased either way just thought they would double in height
Some plants stretch significantly less than others. They could keep stretching for another week or two but those do look like they will have a more short/stocky structure.
I was reading a study the other day where the author was trying to make the case that 'the stretch' is just stoner science and the plant is just growing as it normally would. It got me thinking.... we always say plants double in size when flipping to flower But we also know that genetics determine plant height / structure....if a genetic strain has a max height of 6ft....and I veg it to 6 feet...is it going to stretch to 12ft once I flip to flower? dont think so... just an interesting thought conundrum.
I like more stretch. You get smaller, denser nuggs that develop real nice. Big fat kolas have a lot of leaf/stem/underdeveloped bud
