So I have been hearing that it is good to kill the lights for about 48 to 72 hours before you harvest to really pull the trichs out. Is this true? Anybody tried this and seen any difference in the crystals and how they pop out?
no difference.. (in my experience) not sure how much a trichome will really develop in such a short period of time... what's a trichome supposed to do in 48-72 hours?
I like to let the plants growth dictate harvest time. They can change a lot those last few days of flowering. How do you know its time to give an extended dark cycle? Just give her what. she needs and let her do her thing.http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1269823-This-old-Hippies-Organic-Garden.This old Hippies Organic Garden.

thanks for the replies, I usually don't mess with the light cycle at all. Always less stress the better when it comes to me. A buddy of mine said he had seen a difference in the trichs when he did kill the lights for the last few days, but always better to get the opinion of many growers instead of one.
